Our Head Coach Helen Ward and Badminton Development Officer (BDO) work in the County Primary Schools offering school sessions and after school clubs.
The BDO is responsible for running our Scholarship Scheme which offers free places for a three month trial at our club. This encourages players who might otherwise not be interested in sessions to come along free of charge for upto three months.
The scheme has been highly successful and identified some of our greatest talents at the club.
Players frequently join the main club from these sessions via jacks our under 8 year old session.
