On Saturday 2nd May teams from Queens, Chulmleigh, Cranford and ISCA came together at Chulmleigh Sports Hall for the annual East Devon Junior Badminton League Premiership match. It was a fantastic day of competitive badminton, team spirit and sportsmanship. Nick Masson, chairman of the league, said “Yet again this has been a fantastic competition with the quality of play getting better year on year. Several of the teams including ourselves have county representative players and this makes for a very strong league. It was great to see queens players win so convincingly with a huge points majority”
Overall Queens won with 981points followed by Cranford with 734 points and Chumleigh 734 points.
The league continues to grow in strength and with teams such as Ottery and Chumleigh developing and improving their quality.
